Interfaces verschafft dem Tanz die Bühne der Bildenden Kunst. Die Bewegungen der Tänzer werden gescannt und im Code Generativer Künstler in eine neue Form überführt. Stiftplots, fotorealistische Renderings, 3D-Drucke, robotisch modifizierte Materialien oder rein digitale Werke, die ihre Sammler in der Welt der NFTs finden, …
Wir haben zwei Kollektionen zusammengestellt, die Sie auf OBJKT.COM sammeln können. Der Erlös kommt einem guten Zweck zugute.
“Interfaces” is the bridge between dance and computer art.
We capture the dynamics and expression of dance and transport them into the world of code generated art.
“Interfaces” wants to trigger, push and moderate a dialog between generative artists and choreographers.
"Interfaces" is a data and knowledge base loaded with data from choreographies, workflow documentation, sample code, converters, scanners and other open source tools that aim to help creators to run their respective part of collaborations between dance and code art.
Be part of “Interfaces” by either providing Your movements as a scan on our servers, or by creating generative art using the json files with the movement data from choreographers in Your code.
"Interfaces" is about sharing and remixing. We respect the idea of open source and fair share. So tag the creators of the content You're using and share the profits - fame, coins or just the fun.
We are curious to see what You do. So let us know by tagging #interfaces on social media or joining the community on discord:
We are well aware that Discord is not for everybody. In service of the community aspect of the project we decided for this platform to be the place for dialog, questions and updates on changes.
But you are also welcome on GitHub where we provide code samples as well as a complete Docker environment for the scanner and data base - if you wanted to set up your own system.
There is also a broad support for the project and lots of friendly coders out there to maybe joint your projects. Hit them up on our Discord or even at events like the monthly meetings of Creative Code Berlin and others.
If you want to start using parts of our data base right away there are json files available to download or link directly into code (like the p5 editor). But please read and agree to the below Agreement first. This is a project based on fairness, sharing credits and an open source mind set.
